Tickets for the London 2012 Olympic Games will go on sale on 15 March 2011, for a six-week application window until 26 April 2011. Tickets for the Paralympic Games will go on sale on 9 September 2011.

Ticket Prices
There will be 7.7 million tickets will be available for the Olympic Games, with another 1.5m for the Paralympic Games, please be aware that tickets are not on sale until 2011, but you can register an interest, this will shorten the steps required when the tickets do become available

What's Included
Each Olympic ticket will also include free travel on public transport in London for the day of the event, to encourage spectators to use the transport system and take in the festivities throughout the city.
There will be free events on the streets of London where you can watch for free. These include the Road Cycling, Triathlon and Marathon.
Pricing of tickets has not been established yet, but payment method has. All ticket purchases must be payed by VISA only, other cards such as Mastercard will not be accepted.

Tickets for the London 2012 Olympic Games are available at a wide range of prices starting at £20. There are also special prices for young people and seniors across all Olympic sports. Young people who are 16 years old or younger (at 27 July 2012) will pay their age for a ticket. Seniors aged 60 and over (at 27 July 2012) will pay £16. These 'pay your age' ticket prices and senior ticket prices are available in more than 200 sessions. The price of a ticket for a wheelchair space includes a companion seat located next to it.
